Expert Answers about Grand Design Reflection 150 Fifth Wheel

  • Can You Upgrade From a 4.3 Furrion Vision Monitor To a 5 Screen?
  • The Furrion Replacement 5" Monitor # FR97FR is going to be specific to the Vision S series of cameras. If you have the older Vision or Vision II you will need to upgrade to the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System # FCE48TASL-05. Furrion discontinued the older cameras and monitors so there are no generic replacements.

  • Is White Wire of Trailer Wiring Most Commonly the Ground Circuit
  • For trailer wiring the white wire is almost always the ground wire circuit. Since trailer wiring gets redone periodically it's not uncommon for the colors of the wiring to get changed but in general white being ground is the most consistent. Then the brown would be most likely the running light circuit. I attached a link to a page that has trailer wiring diagrams for you to check out as well.

  • What Trailer Lift Kits Will Work with the MORryde CRE3000 Equalizers
  • I do still have a few options for lifting the trailer but the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit part # RR23QX is indeed incompatible with the MORryde CRE3000 Equalizers. Therefore, you can either change these out to standard ones like the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs part # TREQE1 or look into an axle over conversion kit. That said, this option only works for you if the leaf springs are under the axle. If so, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under...

  • Parts Needed to Install GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB to Trailer Wiring
  • Best option would be to connect the # A47PB to the wiring you have on your trailer currently so that you can easily plug in the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB. For butt connectors you'd then want the part # DW05714. This is a really solid choice for a light and would work well for your 2018 Grand Design Solitude.

  • Drawing Schematic of Replacement I-Beam Jack Bracket for Lippert Ground Control 3.0
  • I have attached for you below the complete dimensions of the Replacement I-Beam Jack Bracket for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 part # LC349975 to the degree that Lippert was willing to share. If you require further dimensions, I'd need to know exactly what that is to see if we are able to obtain these for you. That said, manufacturers typically don't release full CAD for products to prevent design theft so we are also limited in what we can provide.

  • How To Transition A 2021 Grand Design Reflection 278BH To Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brakes
  • To switch over to electric over hydraulic disc brakes you'll need start by finding the bearing and grease seal combination for your trailer's axles so that we can find a compatible hub/rotor assembly. If you remove the hub and measure the spindle with a set of calipers # PTW80157 at points B, C, and D from the diagram below we can use these inner diameter measurements to determine a fit. From there we'll need to determine the correct length brake line kit to make the run from the front...

  • Cover for 2019 Grand Design Reflection 150 5th Wheel in High Wind and Cold Winter
  • This cover, part # CAM45755, works great in areas with harsh winters. In areas with high winds, most people put tennis balls or pool noodles in the corners of the camper where there is a lot of rubbing on the cover. Having that extra padding helps the cover last much longer.

  • Should I Add A Shock Kit To My 2018 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series Camper?
  • There really are no drawbacks to adding a shock kit to your 2018 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 220RK. I do like them as they will smooth out the ride and actually help with sway issues as well. There are a few options to choose from and though they are more expensive, I do prefer the Roadmaster options. These have a Lifetime Warranty and come as tandem axle kits as well. I was unable to find the capacity of the axles on your camper, so I do have all three options listed below. Roadmaster...

  • Does Adco Olefin HD RV Cover for 2020 Grand Design Reflection 260RD Have Access Panels for Doors
  • Yes, the Adco Olefin HD RV cover part # AD99ZR that you referenced does have access panels on both side of the camper all along the length of the camper to give access to any doors on the camper. This is also the correct size for your 2020 Grand Design Reflection 150 260RD and is the best option. It provides the best protection and also has the easiest install since the straps that run underneath it are weighted which means you can just throw them under the RV instead of having to crawl...

  • Can the Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack Be Used On a 5th Wheel Trailer
  • I do have an option for you but the Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack part # Y02458 isn't rated for use on a fifth wheel trailer. That said, Yakima does offer a very similar rack rated for this use, the Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack part # Y02476 which was designed specifically for trailers. It also comes with both bike and hitch locks.

  • Replacement Bearings for a Dexter Axle With 031-032-02 & 031-33-02 Bearings
  • For your 031-032-02 bearing you can use the Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # LM67048 and for your 031-033-02 bearing, you can use the Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # L68149. However for your grease seal, you are going to need to measure where you current seal rides with a set of calipers # PTW80157. I've included a diagram for you to check out showing where to measure for the grease seal if you're unfamiliar.

  • Is a Hitch Extender Compatible with Hitch On Back of 2019 Grand Design 260 Reflection and Bike Rack?
  • Hitch extenders like the Brophy # HE06 are not tested for RV use but are also not restricted from that use. As long as you are within the limits of the hitch tongue weight when you reduce the tongue weight by 50% using the extension, you will be good to go. The Brophy # HE06 will reduce the 300 lb factory hitch tongue weight to 150 lbs, so your bike carrier and 2 bikes at 120 lbs will work. You will have more movement due to the adapter so I recommend using a hitch immobilizer like #...

  • Replacement For Amtech AT141-116 Landing Gear Switch On A 2020 Grand Design Fifth Wheel
  • While a direct replacement for the Amtech AT141-116 switch is no longer available, we have confirmed with the manufacturer (JR products) that the RV Landing Gear Switch # 37213635 will be a good replacement for the switch on your 2020 Grand Design Fifth Wheel.

  • Replacement Landing Gear Switch For A 2020 Grand Design Reflection 295RL
  • The RV Landing Gear Switch # 37213635 is basically a generic momentary on/off switch that can be used for 5th wheel landing gear or tongue jacks. We do not have a way to look up a year make and model of RV to know exactly what switch you would need. If you can provide pictures and or dimensions of the current switch, or tell us what brand landing gear set you have that may help to narrow down a direct replacement. Or it is possible that a Grand Design dealership could provide that info....

  • Determining The Correct Replacement Pin Box For A 2021 Grand Design Reflection 295RL 150 Series
  • Manufacturers don't list the pin boxes they use so I don't know what your current pin box bolt pattern is in order to confirm the fitment of the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for 11.5K to 14K Trailers w/ Lippert 1621HD # MR74VR. • Recommended RV Cover For A 2019 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 290BH Fifth Wheel Trailer
  • The length I'm seeing for your 2019 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 290BH Fifth Wheel Trailer is 34' 1" so I recommend the Adco Olefin HD All-Climate + Wind RV Cover for Travel Trailer # AD59ZR. The Olefin HD travel trailer cover works best for long-term storage in all climates. The top panel constructed of Olefin HD fabric blocks harmful UV rays that can cause cracking and fading, beads water on contact, prevents dirt and dust particles from reaching trailer surface, and eliminates...

I recommend the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 for the bearings. This grease is formulated to work in both hot and cold temperatures under extreme pressures. I do recommend having some spare bearings and races incase you discover that any are damaged. Inner Bearing # L68149 Inner Race # L68111 Outer Bearing # LM67048 Outer...

  • Troubleshooting A Furrion Tankless Water Heater That Turns On When The Toilet Is Flushed
  • What you're saying leads me to believe that the water line running to the toilet may branch off of the hot water line. This is not correct but sadly isn't uncommon. I discovered when remodeling one of the bathrooms in my own home that the builder had the water line for the toilet connected to the hot line instead of the cold. I recommend tracing those water line from the toilet to make sure that it's not connected to the hot side and calling for hot water every time you use it. This would...
